Jan projects from scrapbook obsessions and thank you

New Year…. ahhhh time to start again.
AND… now I am another year older. wow that went fast.
I have to say it was very overwhelming the love from freinds all over the world.
amazing how many people you meet on this contraption and in this world of scrapbooking. I have made so many friends far and wide. I cherish deeply. Not just in scrapbooking other friends as well. Thank you ALL OF YOU SO MUCH. Im so happy to be here. IT HAS been a ROUGH YEAR. A SCARY YEAR at times. I hope and pray for lots of wonderful things this year to come.

I did do a little scrapbooking today I can’t show it yet. It is for an upcoming project. BUT, I can show you what I did with the kit from WWW.SCRAPBOOKOBSESSIONS.COM
Jan kit. Beautiful Asian inspired papers.

You heard me talk about LaLa (my mother in laws dog) I just had to scrapbook this little ball of fluff. She was the inspiration for this page since her breed originated over there WAS TOO PERFECT. Everything on the page is from the kit.

The other project I made for my sister in law for Christmas. I wanted to make her something to sit on a shelf or on a table, sort of frame like but out of a canvas. The women in Johns moms family are so strong. They have a strong heritage as well. so I wanted to pull from that and these papers really did give me that opportunity.

I still have another project with it. Not done yet! SO stay tuned!! MORE TO COME!

Click on the photos for a Better look 🙂

We had a hard time Breaking Bella of her pacifier. We tried to get her to give it to Santa Claus.. didn’t happen that year..

This Kaisercraft album included in the kit is just amazingly perfecttt for what I needed to update some of my pictures I had of these field trips Bella Bug has been on. I really went to town with the stickles (not included in the kit) I wanted to shine it up with the shimmer and shine so I really did sparkle it on some extra. HEYYY! ITS CHRISTMAS!

Say Hello to Rudolph BELLA JUST LOVED THIS RUDOLPH SHE SAID IT HADDD TO GO RIGHT HERE!! so that was her contribution to this album. THANK YOU BELLA.

This years photo of Miss Bella bug and Santa.

Three Bugs In A Rug Spread Your Wings September Kit from Scrapbook Obsessions

OH MY WORD I love this kit from Scrapbook Obsessions. IT was the Purrrfect (see what I did there? HA!) thing to go with the (cats whose name changes on a daily basis) photos! I have been itching to scrap these photos ever since I have found out what this kit was gonna be!! IT was all I could do to contain myself. I have been just clicking pictures like crazy. SO GET READY! IT will be a feline Frenzy this month with this kitty I mean Kit. haha I did it again.

I stamped using these little maya road stamps and used prima bling to accent them. Rent those little birds precious?

I ran out of room after I made my big title on this page SOOOO I made a little journaling book on the bottom.

The journaling says:

With your allergies to pet dander it was a flat miracle, us keeping this cat. Your love for this cat is the reason we have kept this cat. You stayed outside with it from the time it showed up until we forced you to come in. When it was introduced to the backyard and your dog Guido, you were so worried. When it discovered squirrels and quickly chased one up this tree and perched itself upon this branch you worried more. It came down eventually with the help of some cat food and a growling tummy. You love this cat so. You love it so much you hug it and squeeze it and love the stew out of it. We wonder if it remembers this spot up in this tree because it might just want to go back there when you keep lovin? on it so much it hurts!

on a more somber note.
I was very saddened to hear that Bella’s Teachers mom had passed. She had been fighting cancer for some time. Bella has been praying for her for since school started. I hope Mrs. Brown knows that our hearts and our prayers our with her through this time and with her family. BIG HUGS for her. Bella is working on her a card right now. The glitter and ink are a flyin’

I MIGHT BETTER go check on this I think I just heard something meow and I KNOWWW she didn’t bring that cat in this house!!!

Good things are HAPPENINNNG!!!!

First off let me start by saying I think I miscommunicated in my yesterdays post that I created ALLLL THOSE projects this past weekend. UGHHH no! I did the mini album in the previous post, the canvas, the flowerdy layout and a couple more projects but NOT ALLL THAT This weekend. Those are REMINISCE projects I have made and wanted them all together for the DT entry. Sorry if I mislead yall.

This past weekend my nephew Bradlee went with my brother Windale to a Bronco expedition. Its like this truck club where all these guys get together and see how much mud they can sling and how difficult a path they can ride down. YA fun huh?
Well this trail ride they did was also an anniversary of a young man that died last year named Micheal Stark.
They memorialized him by giving an award away to a young man that exemplified the kind of life that Micheal led with the values he lived by. BRADLEE WON THE AWARD. I am so proud of him!!
I worked on a mini album last night with photos from this weekend. I am awaiting permission from the Stark Family before I post the pages on my blog though. The first few pages are all about Michael with photos of him and also his family.

This is a REALLY BIG honor in the Bronco world. I am so very proud of Bradlee and yes my butt head brother too! (SMOOCH)

I have been scrapping alot lately. I also have some other exciting news. I WON THE PEN PALS CHALLENGE!! YES! I know I was totally floored. SOOOOOO, I get to do Challenge no 7! SO I have my thinking cap on and I wanna make it a good one!

I have been having EXTREMELY good luck lately. MAN I HOPE IT CONTINUES! I told John I needed to buy a lottery ticket.
I received my rak from The Design Experiment challenge that I won. I got some AMAZING WEBSTERS PAGES paper. OMGOSH I cant wait to play with it. Its on my list.

Yesterday I made this cute little card set. PERFECT for gift giving. I did not come up with this idea. I took this in a class here locally from a close to my heart rep. She did a great job with it and it was sooo easy and fun. I thought it would be fun to pass it along to you guys.

I used the October Kit from Scrapbook obsessions.

Take a 6×6 page protector and cut the part that you put into the album off just after the seam.

Cut a piece of double sided paper to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.

Round one end, you can use a dinner plate or a bowl and trace around the edge of it then cut. Ink the edges

SCORE at 2 and 1/2 and at 3 inches from the rounded edge.

Add the decorative fiber to the edge of the patterned paper.

slide down inside the page protector. Place a velcro sticky on the rounded edge of cardstock and one on the matching side of the page protector to hold it closed.

THEN make 4 general occasion cards.
Here are the ones that I made:

SEEEE now wasn’t that easy? Makes a great little gift idea also!
Well that is it for me today. I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
